It’s nearly time to bid farewell to 2019, an unforgettable year full of achievements and new experiences for the Jungle Experiences team and the Amazon Rainforest Peru.
One of the most important steps we took this year was partnering with AmaTusZonas, a campaign to spread awareness about the importance of caring for the Amazon.
We were also acknowledged by the World Travel Awards as the best cruise company in South America, much to the delight of everyone here at Jungle Experiences Amazon Cruises!
Our biggest wish for 2020 is to take even better care of the environment, with the support of passengers who cherish the experience of traveling to the lungs of our planet and other collaborators who are committed to our cause.
In August 2019, we made a donation to Amazon Forever Org. to create an educational arapaima (Paiche fish) pond. The aim of this project was to raise awareness among the local population of the importance of protecting this emblematic species.
Jungle Experiences is committed to nature and tradition, which is why we teach tourists about caring for the environment and respecting local communities and their rituals. Our goal is to harmoniously integrate our tours into the Peruvian Amazon.
This year we were named “South America’s Leading River Cruise Company 2019” by the World Travel Awards , also known as the “Oscars of travel and tourism.” We aim to uphold this reputation in 2020, which is why we’ll work to continue satisfying our customers and future travelers who wish to discover the best the Peruvian Amazon has to offer.
We feel responsible for promoting the economy of local communities by displaying their artisanship on all our cruises .
