We had a fantastic time!  Everyone in our group agreed that it exceeded our expectations. As for myself, I very much enjoyed the combination of the cultural experience with the intense experience with nature. The butterfly and bee project, the shama, and the tree planting all illustrated the values these communities hold; seeing how they advance with so few resources was inspiring.  These experiences felt very real because our guides, Daniel and Victor, are from the local region, extremely knowledgeable, and deeply committed to these communities. I almost felt uncomfortable at times by how hard they worked!

Of course, the food on La Perla was excellent.  And I can say that the entire crew paid attention to every detail. The 'famous' musical bands that played several evenings were a blast.

We just finished an amazing cruise on La Perla. Everything was amazing and this was all made possible by a fantastic crew including naturalist guides Roger and Erik and our cruise director Jorge. Would highly recommend.

Everything they all did was exceptional. The best part was that I could genuinely tell how much all of them enjoyed being there and taking care of all of us. Their enthusiasm and dedication made the experience even more special.

And OMG, the food! It was incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and exceeded every expectation.

We had a truly wonderful time on the cruise and came away far more impressed than we ever expected.
Before the trip, we were honestly quite anxious. Being in the Amazon jungle isn’t exactly an everyday experience, and with only very limited reviews available online, we didn’t really know what to expect. We traveled on La Perla, and from the very first moment, we were positively surprised.
Everything felt thoughtful and well considered, from start to finish. Little details made a big difference — like ice cold towels waiting for you after excursions in the humidity.
The food deserves special mention. It was genuinely some of the best food we’ve had in our lives. Every dish was flavorful, creative, and beautifully prepared. Huge compliments to the chef.
Our cabin was also beautiful and very comfortable, and every day we found other small surprises in the room.
The guides were absolutely wonderful — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate. From beginning to end, we felt safe, cared for, and in very good hands. There is so much staff on board, and you really feel how attentive and present everyone is.
For us, three nights were perfect, although if we had the option, we might have happily extended it to four.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this cruise to anyone.

Would give a 7 out of 5 stars if I could. Service was perfect. They thought of every detail from early morning wakeups with coffee and snacks to cleaning your boots after the hike. Naturalists had an incredible to spot wildlife. Literally saw over a hundred river dolphins; they were everywhere. Food was great as well and rooms were comfortable. Days were jampacked with activities in a good way. Far exceeded expectations. Took the Perla 3 night cruise.
